The Indiana State Fair is always a fun place to go. Lots of food, lots of rides and games, lots of agriculture stuff to look at. I go for the photos though. Seems there’s always a unique opportunity to take photos.
This year I was expecting a washout. It was raining for most of the day. Dark, gloomy, and just wet. While it can make for some good photos, it’s also bad for cameras and lenses.
What I didn’t expect was that I was there at the most perfect time to take photos. The rain had stopped and the sun started to peak through the clouds during the start of the Golden Hour. These turned out to be some of my favorite photos of 2018.
